Digital Innovation

Introduction

Digital innovation is about how organizations can work with digital solutions to reduce costs, increase revenues, or create new business. Digital technologies can be used to improve the speed and efficiency of innovation. First, digital technology is by itself a source of innovation as it enables new ways of doing things, and it can be the source of new products and services as well as being embedded into them. Second, digital technology is sometimes called innovation technology because it enables a more efficient and effective innovation process through more rapid and systematic experimentation, data-driven learning and decisions, and better documentation of outcomes.  Organizations that embrace digital innovation becomes more agile and can response quicker to changes in the environment.

In this course, you will learn about innovation and innovation processes and be trained in digital innovation using a methodology and a set of techniques and tools (template kit) for running an innovation process.
