Cathrine is EVP Communications and user experience at The Research Council of Norway (RCN). The Research Council serves as the chief advisory body for the government authorities on research policy issues and distributes over NOK nine billion to research and innovation activities each year. 

Prior to taking up this position, she held the position of vice president communications director for DNV GL Oil & Gas for five years. She has two decades’ experience from heading up communication for companies such as Statoil, Storebrand, Total Norge, and Aker before joining RCN in 2018.

Steffen Rufenach works as CEO of the consulting boutique R.A.T.E. GmbH in Frankfurt am Main. Together with his team, he supports international companies in managing rankings and ratings in areas such as ESG (environmental, social, governance), employer attractiveness, or innovation. 

He also advises clients on making business decisions based on quantifiable data, focusing here on corporate communications (internal and external) and corporate responsibility. Steffen is active in several industry associations focused on measurement, such as AMEC and ICV. He also co-hosts Measurement Mashup - a podcast on evaluation and impact assessment of communication and PR.

Alexander is associate professor at BI Norwegian Business School, and director of the Nordic Alliance for Communication & Management. His research is situated at the intersection of communication, digital technology, and management.

Alexander is a member of the academic advisory board of the International Association for the Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC), and a member of the expert panel on artificial intelligence at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).
