This project reviewed Statoil's Supplier Development Programme and evaluated its performance. It highlighted both weaknesses and strengths and suggested programme improvements. Financed by Statoil 2003-2004.

The project investigated the role of consumers in the Nordic electricity markets, and their possibility to act as a force for environmentally oriented strategies. Financed by The Nordic Collaborative Council for Social Science Research 1999-2000.

The project studied the development of green energy industrial clusters defined as links between commercial, technological and political interests in interaction promoting environmental innovation in the energy system. Through the selected case studies and comparative and contextual analysis the project discussed the role social and political institutions have played in the development and the potential for learning across national contexts. Financed by The Norwegian Research Council 1997-1999.

The project focused on the Nordic Electricity Market and the reform needs as seen from the user side. It analysed the exchange function in the electricity market and its advantage as an arena for price information and transaction. It reviewed Nord Pool's trading instruments and assets and their strengths and weaknesses compared to other commodity exchanges, stock exchanges and financial markets. It further reviewed strategic challenges from other existing and emerging stock markets, and looked at Nord Pool's role in the development of the European energy markets. Financed by The Norwegian Research Council 1998.
