The purpose of Simula@BI is to facilitate collaboration on research and teaching in data science between BI Norwegian Business School and Simula Research Laboratory.
Research themes and funding
Research areas of interest include theoretical and applied directions within Computational Social Sciences.
- Graph-data, graph modeling, graph constraints
- Natural Language Processing
Hybrid modeling (PDEs/ODEs-NN)
High performance computing
Econometric and financial modeling
- Discovering and aggregating quantities of interest from semi-structured data
- Behavioural modeling
- Churn/retention modeling
We expect these, and more, research areas to become more tightly defined as Simula@BI matures.
